Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
I see a great opportunity for me to get a role that I didn't even think I'd ever be able to get. For the same reasons I initially wanted to be Captain, Chief gives me even more access to management than before. I already enjoy playing Gensec and Captain so Chief would be the next level up from this. I can make a lasting impact on the server and due to my high activity I can be a voice for changes needed to the department.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:
I have plenty of experience on the server and Gensec. I am able to act as a good leader and have done multiple useful things for the security department already (Given Riot a flashbang through suggestions, RRT training, sweeps etc.). I know the department rules inside out and how the facility functions w/each of its departments so I think all of this combined knowledge as well as my high activity would make me a stellar Chief of Security. I am especially good at Riot Control and helping out newer players, and with Chief I can command the whole Gensec team to victory.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:
The Chief of Security is responsible for the entire Gensec security team and so his responsibilites mainly involve keeping the facility safe and secured as well as managing Gensec's duties efficiently. He helps appoint Captains and only answers to CL5 personnel.
Please give some lore about your Chief of Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Barack's family has a long history of law enforcement and government related jobs. Aspiring to be like his father, Barack "The Fortress", he joined the US army and climbed his way up until he was approached by the Foundation and offered a role as Security. From there, he stayed in his new, chaotic job with little connection to the outside world. He's been in the Foundation as security for a long time by now, and has witnessed the evolution of the Class D's tactics over time. Climbing the ranks of security, he was handpicked by the Chief to become a Captain where he kept the facility secure and safe under even the most tense situations. Specialising in Riot Control and leadership, he believes he has what it takes to be the Chief of Security.
