Skill Tree
I'm making this thread to teach new players how to receive skill points, how to accept daily & weekly contracts, learning the skill tree etc.

Accessing the Menu

The skill menu can be located on the TAB menu, hold down TAB and look for a button at the top called 'SKILLS'.

How do I level up my skill tree/earn XP?

There are several ways to earn XP in this addon, I'll be showing you some of the easiest ways to earn thousands of XP.

  • Completing contracts - this is probably the most popular method on earning XP, you have the option to select up to 3 daily contacts at a time and select up to 1 weekly contract per 7 days. When completing a daily contact you'll receive 3,000XP, if you complete a weekly contract you can earn up to 30,000 - 40,000XP depending on which one you chose. If you're interested in this and would like to know more, scroll down to the contact area of the thread.

  • PD - as a PD member you can earn a lot of XP by RP'ing around. If you successfully raid a base and you destroy their illegal items (E.G - Meth/printers) you'll earn 100-200XP for your work, same with arresting suspects - if you arrest a wanted player you'll receive up to 200XP.

  • Criminal work - There are a few ways criminals can earn XP by RP'ing. If you own a warehouse and complete a mission you'll earn 200XP - they can normally take 2-3 minutes to complete so it's worth doing this once in a while. If you're looking for some big XP you can raid the police department and raid the vault. Once you're out of the PD range you'll be able to sell your loot for £180,000 (£360,000 if you've maxed out the loot perk) and receive a tone of XP for it.

  • Misc - If you're playing as a misc role there's a tone of ways to earn XP in a short amount of time. As a medic, you can heal players and in return, you'll receive XP ranging from 1-100, depending on their health. If you're playing as a hobo can you dive in dumpsters and receive 50xp, up to 450XP if you dive through all of them.

Once you've earned enough skills to level up, you'll be able to spend 1 skill point on the tree you desire - Criminal, Misc or PD. To spend your skill point you'll have to click on the perk you'd like and a purple box will show confirming you'd like to spend that point. Per level, your XP bar will increase, from level 1 - 2 it'll increase by 200+ XP. For example, if you're at level 24 it'll take up to 22,000+ XP to level up.

If you complete every daily contract you'll earn up to 189,000XP, an additional 30,000XP if you complete the weekly contract.

How do I select a contract?

You'll be able to select contracts at the NPC located at spawn, as I said you can select up to 3 daily contacts and 1 weekly contract at a time. If you decide to cancel that contract you won't be able to pick it until they expire so decide carefully.

When you're at the NPC press 'E' on it and a menu will prompt up giving you the available contracts, if you hover your mouse over a contract it'll give you a message on what you need to do in order to complete it. For example, if you select the 'Bounty Hunter' contract, it'll say you'll need to complete 3 bounties.

To view your current contracts go to the skill menu and click the yellow contract button located above the misc tree.

What do you unlock once you've maxed out a tree?

To max out a skill tree you'll need to dedicate at least 52 levels to that tree. It may seem a lot of the rewards to maxing out is worth it:

  • Criminal - When you max out this tree you'll unlock the ballistic jammer (you'll need to upgrade this 5 times, per level you'll receive an additional 5 seconds when the jammer is active) and after you've maxed out the jammer you'll be able to unlock the 'Skull Breaker' job. When playing as the SB job you'll receive 250HP, 600 armour and an M249 - This role is basically an upgraded marauder so when playing as SB you must comply with the marauder rules.

  • Misc - When you max out this tree you'll receive the tracker perk which will come in handy when playing as bounty hunter or hitman, as it'll allow you to track your targets footsteps for 1 minute (5 minutes if maxed out). Once you've maxed that out you'll receive an exclusive job called 'The Hunter', as this job you'll be able to accept BOTH bounties and hits

  • PD - When you max out this tree you'll receive the instinct perk, it'll allow you to see wanted players through walls for 3 seconds (15 seconds if maxed out). After you've maxed out this perk you'll have the option to unlock the spotter perk which will automatically make players wanted if you're breaking the law in your FoV and will alert you.

Conclusion

That's all the basics on the skill tree feature, hopefully, this mini-tutorial has helped you out in any way. If you spot an issue with this thread - maybe some incorrect information feel free to message a higher-up and they'll edit this thread. Not to mention if you run into a bug with the addon please let us know as we can't fix something we don't know about.
